Cut It Out

Looking like such a big boy!

 No, seriously. My kid is killing me with the cuteness factor. The little mister's hair was getting a bit unruly & just plain out of control. We attempted to do something with it for our friend's wedding & it was just unmanageable.

The moment I had been dreading finally arrived...

I had to cut my baby's hair. =( He had his one year/cake smash pictures scheduled for today & we figured there was no way to make his hair look presentable for the pictures if we didn't give in & cut it already. My heart broke a little more with every snip. snip. snip.

I almost cried, but C did great! No tears, no fussing, no grabbing of scissors. He was a real trooper! I still thank my lucky stars every.single.day that my kid is so easy going.

Thank goodness they cater to sappy Mommas like me who want to save snippets of hair & provided me with a little, tiny zipper baggy. C also got a certificate (for the baby book) about his first haircut.

It was so cute! We took him to Lil Snippers because they cater to children specifically, but I'm not sure if we'll stick with them in the future (see $17 haircut for a baby!! YIKES!!! That's more then K spends on a haircut). It probably did help though that they let him sit in a sweet jeep & watch some Elmo at the same time.
