30 week OB visit (Madeline)

Stats:

Progress: 30 weeks, 6 days. (On a side note, I can't believe the last appt. I posted about was at 16 weeks! Slacker, much?)

Weight: +20 pounds on the clinic's scale. Granted, this WAS the day after Thanksgiving & in the evening. lol It's definitely more then my normal scale has been reading the last few days. Definitely not terrible though for being almost 31 weeks. =)

Urine: All clear

Blood Pressure: 131/76

Baby's HR: He actually didn't tell me today, but we did listen to it. =)

Fundal Height: Measuring at 33 weeks!! Apparently measuring two weeks ahead is a consistent thing for me.

Next Appt: Friday, December 11 at 4:25PM. We're at every 2 weeks for the next two visits & then I will go weekly! It's crazy to me...

So despite being bad about documenting visits between 16 weeks & now, I hadn't seen my doctor anyway in 6 weeks! My last visit before this one was at 24 weeks. Things got screwed up because he was out of the office the majority of November & they didn't even think to schedule me with another provider. Whatever. =/

The appt was pretty typical, I checked in 20 mins before my appt. Got brought back at my scheduled appt time & then weighed, vitals & gave a urine sample. My OB finally came in around 5:10PM & we talked a bit about future appts, the glucose test, what I want to get out of my birth experience & whether I had any concerns now or for when the time comes. All pretty standard at about this point in pregnancy. We listened to little miss' heartbeat & then he asked if I wanted to take a peek at her. Well, I've never seen ANY of my babies via ultrasound this late in the game so of course I said yes. Honestly, I could not even tell what I was looking at. AT ALL. lollll

He printed some ultrasound photos & then had to explain what each thing was before I could understand what I was looking at so if you can't tell from the pic below...I don't blame you! loll I'll see him in 2 weeks & then in *about* 3 weeks after that because of the holiday. I have to go do my glucose test *sometime* in the next two weeks, but I honestly have no clue when I'll squish that one in. Oi.

In case you're thinking.....wth is that? I'll *attempt* to shed some light. It's looking straight on at her head & face. You can see her eye on one side that appears closed, her chubby cheek below that & her little nose in the middle. Her hand is up in front of her face blocking her other eye & mouth.
