I lost 1.6lbs this week ya'll!! I consider that a success. My goal was to lose 1lb a week as to not mess with my milk supply & thus far all seems to be well. I never really believed people when they said that your body WANTS to hang on to some of your pregnancy weight while nursing. I thought that was just a myth, but I am finding it more & more true. I have had to work A LOT harder for these small successes then I did for much larger ones in the past. I'm okay with that though. I need to get back to a level of fitness that I am happy with. Right now, it's a lot of walking & weights. Soon, I hope to be able to start running again, but between the soreness/bouncing of my boobs & being at a very low cardio fitness level it's just not realistic right now. I have to build back up to it again like I did before.
Things I did well this week:
-Tracked my food & exercise on my Nook with the Lose It! App
-Switched to light frappes instead of the lovely full fat ones =( Sad, but sooo necessary.
-Portion control, portion control, portion control--I actually started REALLY measuring out all my food ya'll
-Walked/Weights 3 days this week
Goal for the next week:
-Drink more water
-Work-out 4 days
-Continue tracking all food/exercise
Anyone else still trying to lose the excess baby weight while nursing? What if anything have you found that works for you?
