Dear Baby (8 weeks)

My sweet little pumpkin pie,

We've made it another week! You are another week older & another week bigger. =) Apparently you've grown to raspberryish proportions, which basically equats to .63 inches & .04oz. So, you're still pretty tiny, but putting on about a millimeter a day!

You are definitely still putting me through the wringer this week with your unpredictability. We have our good days & our bad days for sure. Luckily, we've had no further scares from you & your Momma is very thankful for that. You are definitely letting me know that you want to be NOTHING like your brother at this point. My experience this time around is definitely unique, trust me baby, YOU are unique.

I have a feeling that I am going to start to show with you a lot sooner as well kiddo as the bloat is already INSANE at this point. You're making your Momma look 6 months pregnant already kddo. I guess it's a good thing I get to wear concealing scrubs to work. I don't want you to make our secret obvious too soon. We've got about 3.5 more weeks until we get to see your sweet face for the first time & I am so excited that every day brings us closer.

And I know it's early & we probably won't be able to hear you just yet, but I am excited to start trying. I plan to get the doppler out of storage tomorrow & see what I can see. Don't worry if you don't want to be heard just yet, I'll forgive ya! You'll learn that your momma can be a little unrealistic at times, but you can't blame me for wanting to be close to you.
