Disappointed aka Fix #2

I received my second fix late last week while we were out of town so I was excited when we got home to try everything on so I could get what I didn't intend to keep back into the mail. My fix arrived on the 24th & we didn't end up home until late afternoon on the 25th.

I love opening the box & checking out my style card because it is seriously like Christmas morning! I'm not a big fan of surprises, but I do like the kind that come along with a box of clothes. =) I was pretty excited this time because since a friend had signed up for the service through my referral link I had a $25 credit. Essentially this fix was free plus $5. Always a bonus!

This was the first item I pulled out of the box & I was not pleased to see it.

Does anyone besides me see a problem with this tank top?

If you didn't notice, it is almost damn near IDENTICAL to the one I said that I HATED in my first fix.

Seriously SF? I was not impressed as you can tell by my face. I hated the pattern, I hated the style & I hated the fit. Obviously, this got sent back.

The second item I pulled out of the box was this blue top... I hate to say that when I saw it, again I knew I wasn't going to like it. I tried it on & it was a little better then I thought, but not much. The material was nice, but thin. The ruffles in the middle down the front were also down the back of the shirt & the neckline was just beyond odd. This was just not flattering on me so it also got sent back. And definitely not worth the $48.00 price tag to keep it.

The third item I pulled out were these jeans. They were super skinny & stretchy which I loved, but they felt more like jeggings to me then actual jeans. Also, they didn't fit! I could get them on, but they did not zip or button. Even if they had fit though, the $130 price tag definitely was a bit too steep especially for a brand I had never heard of... As you can already guess, these ALSO got sent back.

The fourth item was this maroon colored dress. I was actually super excited to see this in my fix! It looked adorable when pulled out of the box. It was a wonderful fabric (perfect for fall/winter), had short sleeves & a defined waist. The only things I didn't like about it were that it had odd ruching right below the bust & it was SOOO short. =( You can see where my knees are in this picture & how  far up my thigh this dress came. I usually wear dresses for church or related occasions & this would have been totally inappropriate. I honestly wasn't even comfortable walking around my own house in it. If this had been even a couple of inches longer I would have kept it, but alas...it also got sent back.

And right when I thought I was going to lose my styling fee...I pulled this necklace out of the box. It's very simple & I don't own anything else like it. It can be added to a lot of outfits just to add a special touch & since I didn't want to lose my styling fee or waste a perfectly good credit I went ahead & kept this. It was $28 so I ended up getting it for $3. Definitely worth the price tag if you ask me!

My next fix is scheduled for October 15th! I can only hope that they take my comments to heart & don't send me ANOTHER tank top that looks identical to the one they've sent me twice now...
