We celebrated H's first birthday last Sunday in our home town. The party was at my parent's house & was very low-key. The theme was fall & pumpkins (naturally & conveniently) & we had a mid-afternoon party that worked out perfectly. It was mostly just family & a few close friends, but I feel like it was really special & that H definitely enjoyed his day.
He was one spoiled little guy & we brought home a lot of new toys & clothes. He also REALLY enjoyed having his own cupcake & the bath that followed said cupcake. =) I really couldn't have asked for a better day for him. It was also a lot less stressful for me then C's first birthday & I got to enjoy it too.
