Costume parade

Thursday was C's Halloween party for preschool. They got to wear their costumes to school & the parents were invited to come for the last 45ish minutes of class to enjoy the party with the kiddos (or watch them eat...whatever).

I dropped C off at normal time & we had to snap a few quick pics of him & his closest girl friends, Eleanor & MaKenna. We checked out their schedule for the day real quick & spoke to his teacher about what time I needed to return to help set-up.

I came back to the school around 10 & a lot of the other parents were already there as well waiting to get the party started. The kids were still working on an art project when we came into the room & after they finished up we helped clean the room & set-up. The kids headed out on a little parade around the school in their costumes while we finished getting out the food for them.

I had H with me (of course) so we had to find something to occupy his time as well while I helped with set-up. Fortunately, they have toys sitting out in preschool. =)

After the parade & trick-or-treating at the office the kiddos came back to enjoy their treats & some cookie decorating. My kid however decided to enjoy some sprinkles instead....like a big ole spoonful right out of the container. Ooops...

All & all I think the kids had a good time & a good day. I know C really enjoyed getting to dress up & have that special time with his friends & teacher.
