How far along?: 9 weeks
How big is baby?: Approximately the size of a green olive, about 0.9 inches long & weighing about 0.07 ounces.
Total weight gain/loss: -3 pounds
Maternity
clothes?: I finally dug everything out the box it was being stored in & washed it all so it's ready to go. I have worn my maternity shorts a couple times this week, but not because I need to more because I only have 2 pairs of shorts & I refuse to buy more. Since it's been in the 100s here, shorts are a necessity. I can still wear my regular shorts & jeans too.
Symptoms: The biggest one is definitely still the nausea. I still have yet to actually puke (which is awesome), but I have come REALLY close on more then one occasion. If I hadn't laid down & gone to bed those days I definitely would have tossed my cookies. Otherwise, just continued fatigue & bowel issues.
Stretch marks?: Still just the ones from H thus far.
Sleep: I love it & there is no such thing as too much. I've taken several naps this week with the kids & gone to bed early almost every night & sleep in as late as the kids will let me.
Movement: I *thought* I might have possibility felt something right at 9 weeks, but honestly it was probably NOT the baby. I haven't felt anything sense & it's just too early. Hopefully sooner this time around though. =)
Food
cravings: No cravings. It's been more of "what doesn't sound completely
disgusting today" as far as our dinner plans are concerned. I also find
that I can't eat as much as previously without feeling really sick to
my stomach. My tastes buds are still "off" & food just doesn't look
or sound as good as before.--This has yet to change. =(
Gender: I'm still thinking it's a boy & when I talk with Carter about the baby I refer to it as a he far more often then a she. We likely won't find out until the end of August.
Labor Signs: Nothing yet, clearly.
Belly Button in or out?: In & I'll be surprised if it doesn't stay that way. I have yet to ever "pop" with any pregnancy.
What
I miss: Not feeling like I am going to puke after eating a normal-sized meal. =( I mean honestly, the pain & suffering that results is just not worth it anymore. Half the time I don't eat the whole meal, only eat certain items from the meal or just don't eat the meal at all. Ugh.
What
I am looking
forward to: My next appt. which is toward the end of July. =) I already know for sure we will get to see the baby again so that's exciting. And non-baby related, celebrating the Fourth of July. It's always been my favorite holiday.
Milestones: We shared our baby news on social media this week so we're officially out of the closet to the majority with our baby news. lol
