In the Infamous Words of Stephanie Judith Tanner: "HOW RUDE! "

Today was my monthly OB check-up & it pretty much went as I expected: Weight, PIAC, Blood Pressure, talk to the doctor, find out I have an anterior placenta, listen to baby boy's HR....

Wait, wait, wait....

Uh, back the bus up a minute. I have an ANTERIOR PLACENTA!?! Why didn't someone bother to tell me this before when I freaking out about not feeling movement?

Thanks Doc.

Oh well, I guess that explains A LOT. I was starting to think that either I was an inept Momma at determining what was & wasn't baby or that maybe my baby was just a lazy butt (which I know is NOT true from the various USs). I am seriously relieved to hear that my placenta is in front of baby boy & hence he may be beating the crap out of it & I am not feeling a thing because it is blocking all movement. Now I am definitely not going to worry about it anymore. =) I know he's in there & doing great.

Other then that my appt was good. I forgot to ask how my B/P was this time, but my weight hasn't changed since my Anatomy scan last Monday & there was no protein or glucose in my UA. Baby boy had a nice, loud, strong HR of 145 & my uterus is measuring right at the height of my bellybutton which is right on track per my Doc. Also, I was worried about not being able to get in for my April appt on time & I got her last appt of the day! Score!!
