Productivity--I love it!

I feel like I am really on-track as far as getting things ready for this baby & it's an awesome feeling. If you know me at all you will know that nothing is better to me then getting things done, being organized & being prepared. I thrive on this stuff! On that note, a few developments to report:

My FMLA got approved! Yes, already. We are a long way off still & I will still have things to do when it gets closer to time to go out on leave, but this is a real relief to me & one more thing checked off my list. =)

I finally sat down & started my registry. Again, this may be a bit early, but I am a total researcher & tester & I like to have time to mull over my decisions. I am not someone who can go to the store with a scanning gun & just go to town. I want to get the most out of each thing I choose to put on my registry & make sure that each thing is something I will really want, need & will use. I have had friends registries that were COMPLETELY ridiculous. And no offense to them, but first time mommas can tend to get a little lost in the cuteness of stuff & register for nothing but clothes & a few tiny things. Then they end up missing half the things they really could have actually used! Or they go the other way & end up with a 25 page registry because they registered for everything in the store. I don't want to be either of those people. I don't even have my showers planned at this point, but you can never be too prepared.

I found BB (baby boy)'s nursery furniture! Or at least I thought I had. =( I went to put it in my cart online & it says that the item is currently unavailable...Boo! Now I will either have to wait & hope that it does become available soon or go back to the drawing board & start researching other options. Unsure of which will happen yet. Maybe I will continue my search & keep checking back on the availability of this stuff in the meantime..? What a bummer! I was really looking forward to start getting some serious work done on BB's nursery. We still plan to head to the store this weekend to look at paint colors & hopefully purchase paint regardless.

I am excited to get some of the bigger tasks out of the way before I loose my momentum & energy! I really am loving this point in pregnancy. <3
