Happy 8 month birthday baby! You are seriously one of the most amazing people I know. You are so smart & wildly handsome. Not to mention, just one of the happiest kids around. The first thing that anyone says when they meet you is that you just have the BEST smile. And kid, you really do. You could charm the pants off the Grinch.
You no longer have your gummy toothless grin, but I am learning to love your new little toothy smiles just as much. Speaking of teeth, you are currently working on your top two fronts & I can't wait to see how cute you'll look when they finally come in.
You learned to crawl almost two weeks ago & you are improving upon those skills each & every day. You are constantly on the move & sometimes Momma has trouble keeping up. I can only imagine how much worse it going to get with time.
You are such an independent & inquisitive little man. You want to do everything by yourself & get very frustrated if someone tries to do something for you that you wanted to do alone.
You are in to absolutely EVERYTHING within your reach & your new favorite game is pulling all the books/albums off the shelves in Momma & Daddy's room. You also love getting into your dresser drawers & playing "open/shut." Momma is just lucky that you haven't figured out how to empty them yet. =)
You are constantly wanting us to stand you up & have just recently gotten really interested in changing positions yourself & trying to pull yourself up. It's only a matter of time before you are cruising around the furniture!
You absolutely adore being outside & playing with your best pal Jack. You seem to have developed a love for all animals, big & small, but especially dogs. Even if you are in the worst mood ever, if you see a puppy your world instantly lights up! You have also developed a new love for being "bounced" which seems to have come kind of late in the game as you never did like your Johnny Jumper. Daddy has also started calling you his little "water bug" because you love to crawl around in the big bath tub. I can't wait to introduce you to the pool once it gets warmer. I have a feeling you are definitely going to be a water baby.
I could swear that you get bigger & taller every.single.day. & that your hair grows longer overnight. I wish I was exaggerating! I just want you to know that I love being your Momma & watching you grow, learn & discover new things. I wouldn't trade you for the world kid & even though I tell you all the time...I love you with all that I am. You literally are the greatest part of me.
