| Boy's Club |
It was great for him to get down on the floor & be able to crawl around & play with kids his age. We don't have a lot of friends with kids close in age to Carter (at least not within reasonable driving distance) & since he's not in daycare we don't get this opportunity very often.
C & I met up with these two adorable boys & their awesome Mommas at a local coffee shop that has a play area specifically for little kiddos. (Not Cafe Sip & Play)
We had never been to this particular coffee shop before (despite the relatively close distance to our house), but we will DEFINITELY go back again. It was just like a regular adult coffee shop with an area sequestered in the corner for kids! It was perfect- no escaping, no bothering the other patrons.
It was wonderful to talk with other Mommas who can relate to where C is at developmentally & it's nice to feel like I am not alone in our struggles. I finally have a sense that I am "doing okay" as a Mommy & that we are normal/typical.
So thank you ladies for a wonderful time. C & I can't wait to meet up again!
Ah! He's so cute! That sounds so fun, I wish we had a coffee shop or something like that around us.

ReplyDeletelincoln and i take a kindermusik class and lincoln LOVES interacting with the other babies!!!
It really is a neat place! I'm glad that we are getting time to spend more time with other kids, I want him to be able to develop socially too. =)
