Stats:
Weight: 23lbs. 6oz (first time standing on the BIG scale)
Length: 31.25 inches (we stood him up against the wall so this may be give or take a little)
Diapers: Size 4, Huggies (accidentally bought regular Little Movers, I prefer the slip-ons.)
Clothing: Mostly in size 18 months. His pants are finally starting to fit better around the middle. =)
Shoes: 4.5-5 wide, depending on the brand or type.
Milestones:
12/07--Started saying "home." As well as "come" and "Tom" (instead of just Thomas).
12/08--First ride on the Max train & trip to Zoo lights. He loved it, especially the train ride.
12/09--Started saying corn & house.
12/11--Started saying "Boooom" & "Umm....yes." lol
12/17--Started saying Santa & Elmo.
12/14--First trip to PIR for Winter Wonderland. He was crazy over all of the Christmas lights & was screaming "Yayyyyyyy!" and bouncing up & down the whole time.
12/16--First time seeing the Christmas ships. Again, a big hit!
12/18--Started saying cracker & star.
In Other News:
Nursing: Twice daily-morning & bedtime. Like clock-work. I notice at this point that people are getting less supportive, but more on that later.
Food/WCM: Some days he's starving & eats everything in sight, the next he hates EVERYTHING. Except puffs, that is. He honestly has no favorite foods at the moment (other then puffs). It's all hit & miss. Ah...toddler food habits. He is finally, finally, FINALLY drinking a reasonable amount of milk (whole or Very Vanilla Silk) out of his straw cups. We're trying to work on drinking out of a real cup, but there is A LOT of spilling going on thus far (that is insanely funny, apparently). We'll keep at it. =)
Sleep: Well, it had been good. He usually sleeps 11-12 hours straight through the night with bedtime being right around 8PM give or take 30 mins. The last few nights however it has been a fight to even get him down before 10:30PM. Sigh...I don't know what his deal is. Hopefully, we can remedy this VERY soon. He's still taking 1 nap daily sometime in the afternoon. He usually goes down somewhere between 11:30AM & 2PM (depending on what we have going on for the day) & will sleep anywhere from 1.5-3 hours.
Activities/Play: Climbing, climbing & more climbing. I hate this stage. =( Anything that is *possibly* climbable will be climbed. His other favorite activities of the moment include undecorating the Christmas tree, messing with the dog (& his toys & his bed & his food/water bowls), playing with the wall plug for the central vac system, opening & closing (or trying to) all of the doors in our house, emptying the laundry basket (so that he can climb in it), and so on & so forth. In other words, HE IS BUSY! Basically everywhere & into everything. His vocabulary has also exploded again (as you can see above). He's learned & is using soo many new words lately it's hard to keep track. He loves to try saying new things & will work hard to try to make them sound exactly right. It's VERY cute. He is also big into bouncing in his bed & carrying/pushing things around (my computer chair, our kitchen stools, the laundry basket, ect).
