***So I want to post this before I get too much farther into the week, but I am a LOSER & totally forgot to take a picture this week. Oops! Now I won't be able to take one until Friday. Yikes!!***
How far along?: 29 weeks, 3 days. And time is thankfully starting to slow back down a little bit. I don't feel like time is dragging or anything, I just feel like it's back to a more normal pace then the last few weeks. This is a blessing because I am realizing just how ready we AREN'T. Not to mention, I thought moving out or our house & selling it was going to save us money....then why do I feel like we're constantly broke? That is a story for another blog post though.
How big is Holden?: According to my WTE app, he is approximately 17 inches long & 3.1 pounds. The size of a butternut squash.
Total weight gain/loss: +28 pounds...sigh. I am just about done with this whole weighing in thing. It's never going to stop & the few times I have tried to walk this week for an extended period of time I have ended up with major belly pains. Guess it's just time to accept that I am going to have A LOT of weight to lose post-partum this time around. =(
Maternity clothes?: Forever & ever...amen. Yep, pretty much.
Symptoms: Again, the back pain has been minimal, thank the lord! I will take each day as a blessing. The heartburn is still raging, and on Friday it was so bad despite two doses of the Zantac that I barely took anything. I tried a sample of Prilosec for two days that I got from work & it was magical! lol I am definitely asking my OB for a prescription on Friday. Other then that, just frequent urination & exhaustion. I am pretty much tired 24/7. =( I did have my first stirrings of nesting urges the other day(which sucks) because it's too early to really do anything about it. Since we are still living with family members currently I can't do a lot more to organize or rearrange our space until like the beginning of September. As much as I wish I wasn't working right now, we both NEED the money & I personally need the time away from home (whether I like it or not) or I would certainly go insane. Also, the weird discolored spot on my face is gone....? I don't know what the heck that is about.
Stretch marks?: *Maybe*, see yesterday's blog about Lois.
Sleep: I'm pretty sure I could sleep 19-20 hours out of the day & think it was marvelous. I seriously am THAT exhausted most days. =( Even with C sleeping until 8-8:30AM again (or later) recently it is still not enough sleep for me. I did lay down with C for a bit on Tuesday, but couldn't really nap because I had too much to do. I doubt I will get another nap in any day within the foreseeable future.
Movement: He hasn't changed, he was pretty quiet most of the weekend & then a wild man all day on Tuesday (last Tuesday). And of course, he's still more active on the days I work then on the days I don't. He is also most definitely a night owl. He wakes up with the slightest movement when I am trying to sleep. He's also still very shy & will not move if I or anyone else has their hand on my belly.
Food cravings: Still nothing really. I wonder if I ever will have any true cravings again with this pregnancy or the next.
Gender: Baby Boy
Names: Holden Thomas (Brother)
Labor Signs: Nothing. We shall see if Braxton Hicks actually occur earlier this time & if I can actually identify them as Braxton Hicks or not.
Belly Button in or out?: It's getting more shallow, but it's currently still an innie. Still wondering if it will pop out this time or not.
What I miss: Being able to have C sit on my lap in the rocking chair comfortably. We're running out of room due to my growing bump. =( I don't know how much longer we will be able to sit in his chair together.--Still this! It's been very hard to accomplish this week & I have had to resort to laying down with him to cuddle for naps & bedtime. I may have to get a new glider or bigger chair sooner rather then later.
What I am looking forward to: Being done with our house stuff. =( I got 99 problems, but...no, I just do. Again, that is another post.
Best Moment this Week: Spending even more time with the family (SIL & the kids).
