38 week OB visit

 Stats:

Progress: 38 weeks, 2 days. We're creeping up there people!! =) And yes, my last visit was indeed only 3 days ago. =)

Weight: +43 pounds, I seriously don't understand the up & down weight. I definitely have to attribute some of it to swelling though. My feet are pretty much constantly huge now & I rarely ever have actual ankles anymore. Awesome, I will definitely NOT miss this part of this pregnancy.

Urine: The MA never tells me anymore, I always just end up waiting until my lab results cross over in the MyChart system. I will likely know later today or tomorrow. Oh ps, I did have protein in my dip on Friday. It was 1+ again. Apparently, my OB is not concerned about pre-e despite the swelling & higher then normal BP. **Update** Protein is still at +1. Lovely!

Blood Pressure: 144/70 , yep, still up on the higher side of things. I don't really know what to say about it this time. I did have C at the appt with me again today, but he was a perfect angel, we weren't late or rushing & I didn't even have any coffee this AM. I guess it's not high enough to freak my OB out though...so whatever.

Baby's HR: In the 150s. He was also back on my right side again...he's just changing positions like crazy! He's definitely still head down though. My OB confirmed by an internal & he also had hiccups last night which were down low on my right side. =)

Fundal Height: Measuring at just about 39 weeks so more or less on track. =)

Dilation/Effacement: 1.5cm & 40%. I actually let my OB check me this time because inquiring minds want to know! lol For reference, I was only 1cm dilated & 30% effaced with C at my 38 week visit. =) So my body does remember a bit better this time.

Next Appt: Monday, October 07, 2013 @ 10:30AM at 39 weeks, 2 days.

I've pretty much mentioned everything up above that really needs mentioning about this visit. It was all otherwise very quick & uneventful. C & I were early, they brought us back quickly & I didn't have to wait more then 10 minutes for my OB. We were out of the office by 11:05AM, even with the cervix check. Oh & I also did not get my flu shot again today. I'm not sure if I will or not before H comes.
