So I haven't really updated much on what has been going on in our lives lately other then baby related stuff & some brief mentionings of other happenings in my weekly survey posts. And on that note, in lieu of writing a never-ending post I am just going to make a list of the good, the bad & the ugly. It will save us all some time... =)
The Good:
-We rented out our house to some amazing tenants & now I don't have to stress so much over our finances & not going back to work. Also, we have time to save for the repairs needed. Yay!
-Things are finally getting settled here at home & I finally have more free reign over a household. =) Also, I am getting to meal plan & cook again...which I love!! <3
-C & I have been spending lots of time with our favorite people & our family. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.
-I have 14 days left of work people, 14!! For those of you who have been long time readers you know how excited I am to finally be able to stay at home with my (soon to be) two sweet boys. =)
The Bad:
-We STILL haven't heard about this potential new job of K's & it's been nearly 3 months. I'm not worried at this point because honestly things really do move this slowly with government jobs, but it would be an answered prayer to know that we will have even more added security to our situation. It is definitely in God's hands though, so whatever will be, will be.
-We also still have no idea what exactly is wrong with our house. =( Every expert seems to have a different opinion, which means not fixing it in the immediate future. Plus, we don't want to subject our tenants to even minor renovations at this time, so wait we shall. I just hope the situation doesn't worsen while we sit on it.
-I only have 14 days left of work people, 14!! It's kind of scary to think I won't be going back, actually even if I am really excited about it at the same time. =) In 2 weeks, I will be putting in my 2 weeks notice! WOW!
-K has been working a lot. =( Good for the business & good for our future, but boy do we miss him when he's not home. It probably isn't going to change anytime soon either. It's caused C to become even more of a Momma's boy, which could be potentially really bad when Holden arrives.
The Ugly:
-Um...I am about to have only 30 days left in this pregnancy come tomorrow! Only 1 month left!! Seriously, how did time fly so quickly?! I am obviously in denial about the amount of time left because I still have SOOO much to do. Oi! =P
-My feet. Uh, gross. This swelling is ridiculous! And seriously, I have too much to do to be forced to sit still for too long. Booooo!! The extreme September heat we are having is not helping either. 95 degrees today, seriously....we don't live in AZ! It's the PNW people, it should be raining by now. Fall be damned apparently.
-How do I still feel like we have no money?! Sigh....guess it will probably be like that for a while though. This transition is going to take some getting used to & adjustment on all our parts. Thank goodness we are finally getting all of our last utility bills taken care of from the house & only need $200 towards house costs this next month. Hopefully the saving will begin soon!
