Stats:
Weight: 12.2 pounds per our home scale.
Diapers: Size 2 in disposables. We haven't been doing a lot with cloth this last few weeks, but when he does wear cloth it's in the first snap setting, lowest rise.
Clothing: Still wearing mostly his 0-3 & 3 month stuff (which is all fitting him well), but he has outgrown quite a few things already. He's worn a few 3-6 or 6 month sized outfits & they are just at little bit big on him, but not huge by any means. I'm trying to keep him in his 0-3 stuff for as long as I can so we can get the most use out of it.
Milestones:
12/21: First time wearing a size 3-6 or 6 month sized outfit. Trying to get some use out of the holiday outfits we had for C.
12/22: First train ride & first long car trip. He did great the whole time & either slept or was extremely happy. The trip couldn't have gone better.
12/24: First Christmas Eve. We spent it at home hosting our annual family party on my Mom's side. It was a lot of fun & both boys got showered with attention & love.
12/25: First Christmas holiday. We spent the morning/afternoon with the ILs & then came home & had our family Christmas at home.
12/27: First time rolling from back to tummy! And he did it 3 times. Crazy!!
12/31: First New Year's Eve! We stayed home & I felt sick by the end of the night. I didn't even make it till midnight. =( Very uneventful.

Sleep: He gotten himself on a nice little nighttime schedule for the time being going down between 8:00-8:30PM after the bedtime routine & then nursing at 11:30PM, 2/3AM & 6/7AM. He will usually sleep then until 8/8:30AM before being up for the day. His naps are still often, but short. He hasn't really been fighting them this week again & goes down when he's tired without a fuss. He's still a far better day time sleeper then his brother ever was. He has been doing pretty decently at sleeping in the Rock n' Play, but does tend to end up in our bed about half of the time. Most nights he will go down in the Rock n' Play & stay in it until after his 3AM feeding. I usually try to put him back down in the RNP, but he usually fusses too much to stay in there. It's not perfect, but I don't mind him being in the bed with us some of the time. It's nice to wake up to a snuggly, smiley little bug in the morning. The longest stretch of sleep he's gone is 5 hours straight which is pretty good. Unfortunately, it's usually the stretch that starts at bedtime so I don't benefit from it usually. =( I'll take what I can get though!

Nursing: He's still a super little eater. He's actually started to stretch his feedings out a little bit more some days to every 2.5-3 hours, but also has his days where he still wants to eat every 2 hours on the dot. It's definitely made being out & about a lot easier (not that I really mind nursing in public)! He's been having trouble taking a bottle this last few weeks & so I've basically been having to start all over on teaching him to tolerate one. It has not been fun to say the least! Basically, it's meant giving him one bottle daily & having to pump for the next day's bottle. The last few days have been better, but he still tends to put up a little fuss over the whole process. I also had to go out last week & buy 1 of several different types of bottles so we could find one he likes. The ONLY bottle he will use is the Nuk brand. Weird, I know! He also won't take it unless the nipple is upside-down in his mouth. Such a strange kiddo! I'm hoping that if we keep at it K & I will actually be able to go out for a date on our anniversary sans kiddos in a couple weeks. We shall see. Thus far, we remain issue free with nursing & my supply seems to be in good shape.

Other: H has become quite the mellow little dude lately. And I've definitely come to the decision that neither boy was the "good" baby or the "difficult" baby they were just different. Very, very different. He is also become more alert & awake to the world over the last two weeks. He loves to lay under his play mat & either kick or swat at this toys. He loves looking at his reflection in the mirror & thinks he is just the most handsome baby ever. =) He has gotten a lot more cooey lately as well & has tons of new noises! His favorite is definitely "oooo (sounds like eww)", but he also makes na & muh noises. He thinks his tongue is the funniest thing in the world & loves to stick it in & out. He is very ticklish & loves when people tickle his toes, sides or nom his cheeks. He is SOO close to laughing & makes the cutest little grunts & squeaking noises in the interim. We've been trying really hard to get him to do it & I can't wait until it finally escapes. He has definitely gotten more vocal this last few weeks in a positive way. He still loves the baby carrier & bath time, but still hates being in the car. He's been doing a bit better about the car seat, but we still have our REALLY bad trips. He loves being bounced & is definitely going to be our johnny jump-up baby. The issues with gas have improved immensely this last two weeks & he's a much happier baby for it. He is getting to the point now where he's not pooping consistently though & although it's a little weird, I know it's normal. He absolutely adores his Kick n' Play piano & my ILs could not have gotten him a better gift for Christmas.
Likes: Momma, Nursing, Looking in the mirror, his Red bird toy, Kick n' Play piano, the swing, being in the baby carrier
Dislikes: Riding in the car, Bottles, Any pacifier other then the Mam brand, Wearing pants (or clothes in general), tummy time
