Luck be a Lady

So this blog is a few days past due, but I have to say that Sunday was a GREAT day! Other then it being the first day of our Childbirth Prep class (see post regarding this), we also found some great finds/deals for the nursery! And not only that, but I went to Old Navy to browse while Mr. K got a haircut & it was buy 1 get 1 50% off everything in the store. I found some non-mat. capris, a new maternity shirt, 2 pairs of work-out capris & a dress for my second shower as well as a new pair of sunglasses. It also happened to be a Stuff & Save sale & you could either get 20, 30 or even 50% off your total purchase with the coupon. Guess who's coupon was for 50% off!! That's right, this lady! I got all that loot & a free re-useable shopping bag for under $40. AWESOME!

I was having the HARDEST time finding some of the stuff on my nursery list & I finally found everything I was looking for on Sunday. I did end up taking BB's bedding back on Saturday so I had the extra cash for other nursery items. I do not regret that decision one bit. It was all just too overwhelming & the green color in the bedding was just too bright & garish compared to the rest of the room. I am WAY more pleased with my new purchases. Now for some pictures!

The cute little tiny nightstand I found to put next to the glider we plan to buy VERY soon. Along with the lamp that took me FOREVER to find! The baskets came from Home Goods & were a great deal! They will definitely be filled with goodies soon enough.

And a shot of BB's closet with all of his clothes hung up. I registered for a lot of hangers, but I finally just had to go out & buy some myself. The kid has so many outfits already that I was starting to forget what we already had for him. I still have to wash everything, but I have quite a bit before that really needs to get done. It just helps me keep his clothes organized to have them all hung up. I also thought I had taken a pic of the crib with the new breathable bumpers & his fitted sheet, but I guess I didn't. I will take one later with my bump pic & add it then I guess.

  1. I really need to check out Old Navy! Little K's room looks SOOOO cute! I feel your pain with the whole colors/theme thing....it gets so overwhelming at times. As soon as I have it figured out, something else comes up and it changes. Ahh! We are too blessed to be stressed, right?! ;)

  2. Definitely blessed! =) I wouldn't trade any of the added stress for anything in the world. <3
