Weight today: 154.0lbs
I lost a pound this week! I am going to thank getting my butt in gear & running 4 days this week. I did well with my tracking, but my food choices still could have been slightly better.
I participated in my first 5k today & it went great! I ran the whole time without stopping or walking. My friend & I finished right around the 32 minute mark (my fastest time yet). Honestly, the last 1/2 mile was HARD. HARD to the point that I literally felt like I may pass out, but I did it! I pushed through it & succeeded. I'm super proud of myself & plan to continue training to hopefully run longer races. I will definitely be doing another 5k again in the near future.
Yay for meeting a fitness goal! Onto the next week & more running. Still hoping to add weights into the mix, but I just haven't gotten around to it (unless you count baby lifts with my almost 20lb baby??).
9lbs to go to my goal! Still hoping to push through & get there by C's first birthday. That means I have until August 6. Time to kick it into high gear now that I have less then two months! I still think it's totally doable. =)
Congrats! You look great and I'm impressed!! I need to just bite the bullet and sign up for one. You are good motivation!
