Vacation: Had to get away!

Last week, we spent 6 amazing days & 5 wonderful nights in Sunriver. It was our only vacation this year as a family & our last trip out of town as a family of 3. We went down on a Thursday with my parents & my cousin & we stayed in a beautiful vacation rental. The original plan had been to stay for free in my aunt & uncle's condo, but it was unavailable during the time we needed to go & I'm not even sorry that we had to pay to stay. It was a much needed reprieve from our very stressful & chaotic home life.

The weather was gorgeous the whole time we were down there & we spent a lot of time exploring the area outdoors as well as relaxing at the house. We brought down a ton of food & only ended up eating out for one meal on our last night. My mom & I got to go shopping alone & we got to spend one night alone in the house with just our little family since my cousin left Sunday morning & my parents left on Monday afternoon.

We came home on Tuesday afternoon after touring the Lava Caves & I already can't wait until next year! I just hope that we are able to take another trip down there. There is so much more that I would love to do in the area & never enough time to do it all.
