{ONE} I should have probably made this it's own post, but being short on time & already almost a week out from Mother's Day we will just address it here. It was H's first Mother's Day & he was quite the grump!! He did manage to make it through his first time in the nursery at our new church with flying colors though & overall it was a great day spent with my family. We didn't do anything super amazing, but we were all together & that is what matters most! The picture quality is TERRIBLE, but the lighting was poor by the time we were able to take pictures & K isn't the best with my camera so I apologize for that.
{TWO} As mentioned above, we attended a new church on Sunday. I knew I was right about giving it a chance. I felt so at home & welcomed by everyone that we met. Since it was Mother's Day, the pastor actually led the sermon side-by-side with his wife. The message was really thought-provoking & I truly enjoyed it. The service itself was very engaging & I could just feel the sense of fellowship in the room. The boys LOVED the nursery & had the best time playing with the other children & interacting with the nursery volunteers. Neither of them had any hesitation at all about staying there & playing. Carter may just be a tad too young for the Children's ministries just yet, but he will be able to attend soon. I'm so happy that we've found a place to worship in our new town. We will definitely be going back again on Sunday.
{THREE} This should probably be it's own post too & maybe I'll update ya'll at nine month PP, but I am happy to say that with some slight tweaking to my routine I only have 7 pounds left until I am back to my Holden pre-pregnancy weight. I'd love to be back to my pre-pregnancy Carter weight, but that will come with time, I hope! I'm also down 5 inches in my waist & 2 in my hips at last measure. I've started wearing my NB HR monitor again & tracking my food via the LiveStrong App. It does seem to be making all the difference & I plan to keep at it. I hope that by the time Holden is 9 months I will have more happy news to share about reaching my fitness goals!
{FOUR} The weather here is finally starting to live up to our expectations & we've had to turn the AC on this week. I also went out on Tuesday & bought the boys a new baby pool from Walmart. I, unfortunately, had to blow the thing up myself without an air pump, but it was worth it to see how much C enjoys it. I guess it's true that once a water baby, always a water baby. H, as usual, was unimpressed with the pool. He did, however, take a liking to the shark squirter attached to one end.
{FIVE} How in the wide world is my sweet baby 7 months old already?! *tear*
Cannot wait to have consistent enough good weather that we can buy a little pool for the girls! Happy Friday!
