I was inspired to do this after seeing someone else do posts of a similar fashion. I think it's really cute & will be a lot of fun to look back on in the future. I don't know yet if I will be doing these weekly or not, we'll see how it goes.
To my precious little onion baby,
I can not believe that you & I have already been together for 17+ weeks. It still amazes me every day that you are growing bigger & stronger inside of me all the time. I haven't been able to feel you just yet, but I know you are busy in there. And I am hoping that soon you will make yourself known to your momma.
This week you are the size of an onion (hence the above address)! I know it will probably seem odd to you that you are being compared to the sizes of fruits & veggies, but bear with us baby. Less then a week from now your daddy & I will be finding out if you are a little boy or a little girl. You of course already know this answer, but we are soo excited & talk about it every day. We can't wait to find out who we will be meeting in only 23 or so short weeks. But don't rush yourself baby, I want to savor & remember every moment & each stage.
This week you have become even more unique & now have fingerprints on your tiny little hands. Hair is growing & I just know you are going to come out a little blond baby like your daddy with gorgeous blue eyes. I dream of you nearly every night now. I want you to know how much you are wanted & how much you are already loved by not just your daddy & I, but by all of our family & friends. I never want you to forget how much of a blessing you are to us. Even on bad days, know that mommy & daddy have wanted you & have been waiting for you since before you were even conceived. You were part of a greater plan & we are soo glad that someone had you planned out just for us.
