Symptoms Series #2

Another pregnancy myth?

That every pregnant woman has glowing, dewy, prefect pregnancy skin. And maybe a lot of them do, but alas I am not one of them.

*pouts*

My skin has gotten increasingly worse since the start of TTC. Since going off the pill it has been a downward spiral. Once I got KU, it was like my skin immediately exploded so that I resemble a greasy little middle school student. And what's funny about that is that I never really had bad skin as a teenager. Oh hormones! As far as my skin is concerned, maybe another mommy who had similar problems can alert me as to whether this improves with time or not??

As of yet there doesn't seem to be much improvement. And this is not just my face that we are speaking about. I am plagued with the horrible little buggers from face to chest to back to other odd & unusual places. And you know what?

As disgusting & annoying as it is, I would not trade it for all the world. Because let's be honest. These are like my battle scars. Hard earned, fought for, slaved over. I am pregnant & I am loving every minute of it. Even the not so cute ones. =)
