Week 6
Stuck to my $100 grocery budget--check! Went back to the cash only method with groceries & no overspending occurred. Yay!
Stuck to my meal plan--Check & double
check!! We 100% stuck to plan this week. Even on a day when the unexpected occurred we were prepared & didn't have to spring for a pizza or take-out. Yay!
Saved Money--Check!! Shopped JBF for C, scored a teething necklace on babysteals & got C some Stride Rites for 1/2 off on Totsy! =)
Finished a home organization project--Check! Finished my coupon organization. Still have yet to take a picture of this. =(
Started a home organization project--Not this week, but I will next week for sure. I already have my plan in mind. =)
Swagbucks--1730.This has really fallen by the wayside lately. lol
Coupons--Check!! I don't think I made my $10 goal this week, but I was close. Regardless, I shopped smart & even had a coupon to use at the JBF sale. =)
Deal of the Week: Went to the JBF consignment sale on 1/2 off Sunday. I got all of the stuff pictured for less then $30. Gap, Calvin Kline, REI, Carters..how can you go wrong?! Awesome!
The meal plan this week was good, nothing was super stellar. My favorite were the Basil Parmesan soup & the Beef & Bean Chimis. The Grilled Pork Chops (pinterest) were by the far the biggest let down. I think I had such high expectations that I was pretty disappointed when they were just good & not fabulous. lol Oh well, not every recipe can be a huge hit.
I'm excited for pretty much EVERYTHING that I have planned for this next week. Some are old favorites & a couple are new so it should be fun. I only have the first two weeks of October planned out thus far so I definitely need to get on that before I get behind again. I think I'll plan to devote some serious time to it this weekend.
