Tuesday's Pinned It, Then did It

I bought the stuff to make these DIY double wrap bracelets yesterday & made about 4 of them in a very short period of time. I am seriously in love with how they turned out & will be giving them as gifts to cousins & friends come this Christmas.

I found most of the supplies at my local Michael's (the waxed linen cord & the leather cord) & the rest at my local hardware store (the ball chain & hex nuts). The most expensive was the ball chain at around $3.50 for 3'. It doesn't go very far & you can only use 1 packet of chain towards 2 bracelets (unless you have REALLY tiny wrists). I made the first one WAY too big. That would be the lovely pink bracelet you see here. I will have to give this to someone with a thick wrist or maybe I could use it as an anklet..? Good thought!!

The next two I made a little bit too small for my wrist, but I know they will fit my cousin's wrists just fine. I finally got a good fit on my fourth try & will actually be keeping the purple bracelet (that you don't see pictured) for myself.

I definitely plan on picking up some more colors of waxed linen cord & some more ball chain to make different colors. I may be addicted to these bracelets, seriously!

If you'd like to try making these yourself, here is the tutorial I used from Pinterest. I am also going to try this bracelet tutorial with crystal chain as suggested. I think that would turn out really great as well.
