So apparently our efforts from yesterday were not all for naught this time....

I can finally say that I believe I know what a real contraction feels like now. Did they peter out? Yep, but at least my body got some practice in this morning. I actually had some timeable, consistent contractions. I was hoping that was going to be it, but alas....no go. They were definitely not close enough together & obviously going back to sleep more or less stopped them completely, but hey body! Thank you for practicing at least a LITTLE bit. Guess we know what efforts work now to get my body thinking about labor. lol

Speaking of painful.....no not my contractions...paying the bills today! Yikes, new car payment on top of old car payment on top of mortgage payment all due within a 3 day period = we are broke this week! That hurt. Oh well. Good thing I am at home with no reason to be out spending much money. We already made a huge grocery run this last weekend to prepare for Carter so I only have to pick-up a few things for this week. And hopefully we can keep our gas consumption under control since I will mostly be staying close to home. Good thing I already have everything we need for baby boy in case he does indeed decide to make his appearance sometime this week....come on baby!
