Shape-Up Sunday

Today's Weight: 159.0

Woot Woot!! Thank you Weight Watchers! I could not be happier about my 3lb. loss, especially after gaining, losing, gaining & tons of stagnation. I am so thrilled to have found something that actually works. I feel renewed in my weight loss journey & am only 4lbs. away from my weight at my first pregnancy appt!

WW is nice because I have a goal to shoot for food-wise. A few times, I have had a hard time sticking to my daily point target, but thankfully I have the 49 weekly flex points to save my butt! I end up doing really well when it comes to breakfast & dinner, but I am not a big lunch person & instead find myself snacking all.day.long instead. =( Unfortunately, I haven't really done a very good job of finding snacks (other then fruits & veggies) that are low in points. My favorite granola bars for example are 4 points+ alone. Yeah, fine if you eat ONE, but not so fine if you eat like FOUR. I am going to have to get some ideas for some tasty, low-point snacks. I also need to work on my water drinking, not just for my health, but because I am nursing. Since I have to track my "healthy checks" it has made me a lot more aware & I love reaching my targets for the day & seeing that little smiley face. It really gives me a sense of accomplishment. WW really knows what they are doing!

C25K is going well. I finished up week 5 today & plan to start week 6 tomorrow. The last day of week 5 was to run 20 mins straight or 2 miles & I was DREADING it. Honestly, it wasn't really that bad. I'm excited to start week 6 & push myself. I also plan to starting lifting weights & doing some pilometrics this week. I definitely need to start firming up some of this flab.
