Shape-up...uhhh..Tuesday?

Okay, so I know it's not Sunday, but I didn't want to go another week without one of these posts. Last weekend we were at the beach with no access to a computer & this past Sunday I was at work all day with no access to blogger (yep, it's blocked...of all things. Ha!)

Not that the news would have been good anyways. I put off posting because I gained again ya'll! On Sunday, the scale read 162lbs. Apparently, C25K & "watching what I eat" is not enough. I guess I am not watching myself closely enough. There has been a lot of "it's just a small piece" or "it's just one bite" or "a little bit won't hurt". Well, I guess I was wrong because that small piece, one bite & little bit added up to 1 pound gained. I decided it was time to take back some control. Sooo...

On Monday, I bit the bullet & signed up for WW online. I know it's only been two days, but I love it thus far! It's a much easier way for me to track everything because I DO have access to it at work. Also, it's nice to have targets as far as what I can eat & how much I should exercise. It let's me set goals & gives me something to shoot for. I am really digging it!

I also went to the grocery store & stocked up on fruits & veggies. I am loving the whole "free foods" aspect of fruits & veggies on WW. This fact has definitely caused me to increase my fruit & vegetable intake. I also like the fact that WW takes into account that I am a nursing mother.

C25K is going well & I just started week 5! I also signed up for my first 5k in June & I am so excited! I'm a little bit nervous, but I will be running with one of my good friends & fellow mommas who is getting back into running as well. If nothing else, we will have fun!

Hopefully, with these lifestyle changes & sticking to the program I will see the number on the scale go down on Sunday instead of up. *fingers crossed*
