2nd Trimester (Round 2)

The length of time between finding out about LP & now didn't seem as excruciatingly long as it did with my first pregnancy, but I am still happy to be firmly into the second phase this go-round. We still haven't found a time to get together with the ILs so we're still not completely out of the closet.  Regardless, I'm not in as much of a hurry to share our secret with the masses as I thought I would be.  I'm actually good with just our few close loved ones knowing. As you can see, I might not be able to hide it that much longer, but I'm still okay with the whole waiting thing.

As far as symptoms go, nothing has changed from this week to the last. I am thankful that the nausea disappeared a few weeks ago & that the back pain (from last time) has not emerged yet. I'm crossing my fingers that it won't! I'm still tired, but the exhaustion is improving & I have a feeling that once I finally kick this cold that all will be greatly improved.

Unfortunately, the bloaty belly is still large & in charge come evening, but my belly is now barely existent when I wake up. I'm gonna blame the salt or maybe just the fact that this is baby #2, but I've accepted the fact that this time around is going to be different in SO many ways. So here comes the next chapter & the trimester that I am really looking forward to! We still have so much time together kiddo & so many more fun firsts to experience. Cheers to them all!!
