6AM & down to 10

The worst & best sound ever?

"Mommy?"

30 seconds later.

"MOMMY?"

a minute later.

"MOMMY!!"

at 6AM.

Yep.

C has develeped a penchant for waking up at the crack of freaking dawn this month. I don't know if it's the sunshine or the fact that it's getting light earlier, but I have to say....I am not a fan. This mommy likes her sleep & 6AM on a non-working day is just a TAD too early. Seriously, what happend to sleeping until 7:30? I used to think 7:30 was too early, but obviously I had NO IDEA how good I had it until now. I just hope that come winter time & LP's arrival that C reverts his schedule back to sleeping a bit later or we are all going to be dead tired instead of just the normal newborn exhausted. Yikes!

Now, on to something that I actually am excited about...

10 more days people!!!

I'm getting really antsy for this appt. I knew I was going to have a hard time being patient while we waited for the 21st to arrive, but I am seriously at a fever pitch of craziness right now! 10 days isn't that long from now, but it's far enough. There isn't much else to be done besides waiting, but I can barely stand it. Gah!!

Remind me again that I have waited this long & that I can make it another 10 days. Good things come to those who wait...right?

P.S.--Is it bad that all I can think about is shopping for this little one? =)
