Names & 9

So firstly, this is not going to be a Mother's Day post....but Happy Momma's Day to all the mommies who do read my blog. =)

I'm excited to say that we have decided on our baby names! Yes, already!! I know, I can barely believe it either. When it came to naming C we had a terrible time. We didn't finally decide on his name until I was over 28 weeks pregnant so I'd say that 10 weeks sooner is definitely a win. =)

I had actually come up with a list, but when it came time to share my choices with K I could only remember two or three of the ones I had written down & of course the actual list itself was MIA. I mentioned those 3 to K & we immediately outsted one. Of the two remaining he said either one would be okay with him. We didn't think much more about it at the time.

I found my list the other day & reread it to myself. Of all the names, one stuck out to me the most as the obvious choice. I also realized that I didn't like the other choices as much as I thought I had when I wrote them down. I sent K a text letting him know that my list was crap & that I still liked one name the best. Last night we talked about it some more & I think we now officially have our boy name.

So without further ado.....

If LP is a girl, she will be known as Madeline Louise. <3
If LP is a boy, he will be known as Holden Thomas. <3

I am not looking for opinions here so if you hate our name choices, I don't really care. This isn't the baby name board on TB. Please keep negative opinions to yourself. =)

Louise & Thomas are both family names. Thomas after my FIL (C is named after my dad) & Louise after my mom's twin sister who passed from cancer. I will be honored for our child to be named after either of these amazing people. And if LP is a Madeline then she will likely go by the nickname Maddie Lou. =)

And on the note of boy vs. girl......9 MORE DAYS!! I plan to do another post similar to this one next week. I can't wait!!!
