In Other News:

Nursing: Still going strong with our morning & bedtime sessions. We've now made it almost a full year past my original nursing goal. I can't believe it, but I'm so proud of us both.

Food/WCM: C hasn't been eating too well the last few weeks due to his teething pain, but he is getting a little less picky. His fork & spoon skills still need some work, but are improving every day. He is still not able to drink out of a regular cup & ends up practically drowning himself, but we'll keep working on it. He has finally started to drink his milk more regularly from his sippy cup without putting up a fuss.

Sleep: Has been terrible recently. With the teething there have only been two night where C has STTN. We've had one wake-up nightly the majority of the last 2 weeks & it has been pretty inconsistent times (1AM, 3AM, 4:30AM). Naps have also been less scheduled & shorter then usual this last two weeks. Hopefully, my good sleeper will return when those teeth come in fully.

Activities/Play: Running & climbing are high on C's list this last few weeks. Along with opening doors, pushing buttons & bouncing on his bed (in his crib). He has asked to color almost every day this week & has done so in his high chair as well as the bathtub (with his new crayola washable crayons). His vocabulary has exploded & he's learning at least 1-2 new words daily. He has so many new words that it's hard to keep track or keep up. He is definitely a little parrot, but will also remember his new words & use them in context later. Other top activities include reading books (with us or to himself), "singing" in the car to the Jake CD, playing with Jack, messing with every non-toy item in the house.
