Milestones:

01/07--First trip to Steamers & Screamers. He loved it & we will definitely visit again! Started saying "hat" for the first time.

01/08--Got C's little chair. He adores that things & sits/plays on it all the time. =)

01/11--First time walking the dog on his leash. Jack hates it, but C thinks it's really, really fun.

01/12--Bottom right canine tooth (#13) finally up!

01/14--First time going to Mary's house & meeting Penny & Gracie. Said "shine" for the first time.

01/18--Started saying "Snoop"(the ILs dog)  for the first time.

01/18--Started stringing words together (other then "I just", "I do it", or "what's that?") said "Dada bye bye."

01/19--Started saying "duck".

In Other News:

Nursing: Still doing both bedtime & morning. I feel like I am hardly producing anything at nighttime, but C still seems to want nurse anyway & I'm okay with that for the time being. I still don't see us stopping anytime soon. Although, it's insane how long my kid is these days. The boppy & the rocking chair situation is almost just too comical for words. =) We've tried having K give a sippy cup of milk on the nights I work late, but C is not having it & generally just goes down without milk. I generally do a "dream feed" when I come home late now.

WCM/Food: I have no idea how my child survives most days. These last two weeks he has NOT been a big eater in any sense of word. He's had days where he has eaten more then others, but he's basically been a bird. His top canines & bottom left are still not up so he's been pretty miserable. I'm hoping they will poke through fully soon! He's been drinking a lot of fluids, snacking like crazy & living off of fruit pouches. Sigh...

Sleep: Has been better. Three nights it's been good & the other nights have been miserable with NO gray area. We've had a lot of middle of the night wake-ups & naps have also been hit & miss. I hope C gets his canine teeth in soon so that I can have my good sleeper back!

Play/Activity:

C's favorite activities haven't changed a ton in the last couple weeks. He still loves to climb (mostly on his little chair or train table), jump/bounce in his crib, & color. He's gotten really good with his crayons & loves to color in the bath tub. Other favorite activities this last few weeks include:

-trying to run (very cute, but very clumsy still)
-"walking" Jack on his leash
-sitting in his little chair & eating snacks
-playing with Scout
-pretending *everything* is a telephone
-sliding (Steamers & Screamers)
-playing in the bathtub
-brushing his teeth
-cuddling with us & his stuffed animals
-playing/walking outside
-saying "No"
-carrying around the computer mouse & yelling "go go go"
-reading to himself or with us
-puzzles
-putting the block pieces into his vtech train
