15 Month Letter

My dear sweet little man,

Today you are 15 months old! It was a very big day in Momma's life as she turned 30 today & also a very big day for our country as we just re-elected our president. For you, it was just a day like any other though. You're teething & so you woke your momma up at 6AM. Fortunately, you let Momma go back to sleep for another hour. Thanks for that!

You are now walking all over the place, all the time. It's such a big change from last month! You were very cautious with this step just as you have been with all other major milestones. But now that you're doing it there is no stopping you from anything. You are into anything & everything you can get your hands on. It's turned you into quite the little mischief maker as well. Your latest favorite past time is trying to throw objects into the toilet. Yikes!

It honestly amazes me how much you've learned since my last letter to you & even just in the last 2 or 3 weeks. It seems like you just get brighter & brighter all the time. You've just recently started trying to put your sunglasses on your face the right way but still can't quite get it figured out. You've also figured out how to put your blocks into the top of your train, make "vroom vroom" noises while rolling your cars around on the floor, & take all of the alphabet magnets off the refrigerator & putting them into your bucket.

You've just recently become more of a cuddler again & love snuggling up with me on the couch. And since you've started walking, your favorite thing to do is come up & hug my legs. It's the sweetest thing & I can't get enough of your hugs. You make kissy noises all the time & go "muah", but you're a big tease when it comes to actually getting you to give us kisses.

You also love to imitate us & do "adult" things like carrying around the duster or lint roller & "dusting". I think you've been hanging out with Mimi too much. *wink* You ALWAYS think the phone is for you & you will carry around anything & everything putting it up to your head for a "chat". You also walk around carrying the camera & saying "cheese" to everyone including the dog.

Sweetheart, it's amazing watching you grow & learn more & more every day. You are a truly amazing kid & I am so lucky to have you & to be able to call myself your Momma. Today, forever & always...I love you.

Love, Your Momma
