Is it at all humanly possible for my child to survive off of puffs, fruit pouches & toast alone?
I'm seriously going to start making C homemade smoothies because if he refuses WCM as well as most fruits & most vegetables I'm going to be pretty limited on what I can feed him. Don't even really get me started on meat either....he pretty much only eats ham or breaded chicken.
Yep. =(
It's true that all I can really do is offer the food & if he doesn't eat then he doesn't, but I can't stand to think that the kiddo is starving or something. He's already enough of a lightweight as it is, I don't need him losing weight instead of gaining. At the same time though, I do not want to be that mom who only feeds her kid chicken nuggets & macaroni! Because it tends to follow suit that if C only eats those things then I will too. We already know the problem that this is causing, ie..the weight. Boo!
Tomorrow I shop for some healthy fresh foods & less packaged snacks (aka crap). If I start eating healthier maybe it will set a good example for C to start eating better too. Besides, I am kind of serious about the whole smoothie thing.....
Anyone have any good kid friendly smoothie recipes?
